Cauthen & Associates is familiar with the regulations related to the Green Physical Needs Assessment (GPNA) and Energy Audits required by HUD for public housing authorities. We participated in the beta testing of the GPNA tool for a public housing agency consisting of over 1400 units. Our scope included providing feedback to HUD in the development of the current version of the GPNA tool which was recently released. In addition, to completing the GPNA for our client, we are providing training to their in-house staff on how to maintain the program and report annually based on HUDs proposed requirements. We are currently completing several GPNA/Energy Audits utilizing the new tool based on pro-posed regulations.
